IBSNET IBSNET is the IBS's discussion forum via mailing list and currently links over 450 IBS members. In addition we invite a number of relevant manufacturers and suppliers as guests to discuss their products with us. In our increasingly fragmented industry that also involves irregular hours IBSNET gives you email access to information exchange and problem solving through the pool of unrivalled experience that is provided by fellow IBS members. All you need to take advantage is an email address. IBSNET is a major benefit of IBS membership and is not a public conference. It is not a public forum - Remember that to stay on IBSNET, you must be a member of the Institute of Broadcast Sound (IBS)! If you have been added as a temporary guest member you will be asked again in about a month if you would like to become a member of the IBS. There are two ways of accessing the messages:

For those of you that have the facility to set up a separate folder for IBSNET mail in their mailer software, now is the time to create one! The setting up of folders enables you to sort all your incoming emails automatically into different folders, based on who they're from or content. If you examine the emails arriving from IBSNET, you will note that the subject line begins with a common [IBSNET]. If you have a sort / filter facility in your email program, it might be a good idea to try and create a directory for IBSNET mail.
